Argent is a British rock band that performed a mix of rock, pop and progressive rock. Circus is the sixth Studio album, released in 1975 . This was the last album under their contract with CBS Records and the first after the departure of founder / lead singer / guitarist Russ Ballard. New lead vocalist John Verity was added at the recommendation of Ballard.
