Abominog is the 14th studio album by the British rock band Uriah Heep , released in March 1982 on Bronze Records in the United Kingdom and in September 1982 on Mercury Records in the United States. It was their first album without keyboardist Ken Hensley. The album was a commercial success, partly due to the fact that the band retooled and updated their sound to a modern style and delivered "a more elegant, more appropriate era of pop metal".
