Dutch original. Sheik Yerbouti is a double album by Frank Zappa, first released in March 1979 as the first release on Zappa Records. It mainly consists of live material recorded in 1977 and 1978, with subsequent overdubs in the studio. Initially, the album was met with mixed reviews due to the inconsistency of its lyrical content. Despite this, the album remains a cult album among Zappa fans to this day.
