Director's Cut is the ninth studio album by English singer-songwriter Kate Bush, which she released in May 2011. It does not contain new material, but consists of songs from the earlier albums The Sensual World and The Red Shoes, which were remixed and reorganized, three of which were re-recorded. It was Bush's first album since 2005. Aerial and the first on her own label, Fish People. The album received mostly positive reviews from critics. The album was a chart success, peaking at number 2 on the UK Albums Chart (certified silver). The album also charted in a number of other countries, including peaking at number 4 on the Irish charts, as well as reaching the top ten in the Netherlands and Norway.
