British original. Come Taste the Band is the tenth studio album by Deep Purple, released in October 1975. It was Deep Purple's last studio album before the band broke up in 1976. The reviewer of Classic Rock magazine, reviewing the anniversary reissue of Come Taste the Band in 2010, stated that the album (which received a cold reception at the time of release) has passed the test of time and is one of the best in the Deep Purple catalog.
