Unplugged is a live album by Blues-rock musician Eric Clapton, released in 1992. Was recorded at Bray Studios in Windsor, England on 16 January 1992. He is part of a series of live albums recorded live for MTV Unplugged. Unplugged includes 14 favorite songs Clapton. For this album, Clapton received six Grammy awards, in the categories: "album of the year" and "best male vocal rock performance" (Unplugged) "song of the year, record of the year and best male pop vocal performance" ("Tears in Heaven"), and "best rock song" ("Layla"). The victory of the Blues "Layla" as a "rock song" went down in history as the song pushed "Smells Like Teen Spirit" grunge band Nirvana. Later, this case was included by the magazine Entertainment Weekly's list of the 10 most unexpected twists at the Grammys. In 2000 Unplugged occupied 71 place in the list of "100 greatest British albums ever" by the magazine Q. In 2011 — 9th place in the list of "top 10 guitar albums of 1992" by Guitar World.
