English original. Waka/Jawaka (also known as Waka/Jawaka-Hot Rats) is the fourth solo album by Frank Zappa, released in July 1972. Designed in a jazz style, the album was the predecessor of The Grand Wazoo (released in November of the same 1972) and a conceptual continuation of the 1969 album — Hot Rats. Frank Zappa is an American composer, singer, producer, songwriter, experimental musician. For more than thirty years of his career, he has released more than 60 studio albums, which he recorded both with his band The Mothers of Invention and solo.
