European original. Graffiti Bridge is the twelfth studio album by American singer Prince, released on August 20, 1990 on the Warner Bros. label. Records and at the same time the soundtrack to the film "Graffiti Bridge" (an American musical drama film of 1990). Prince was the screenwriter and director of the film, and also played the lead role. It was his fourth and last major film role. Graffiti Bridge became the singer's third CD to reach number one in the UK chart (as well as No. 6 in the US Billboard 200 chart and No. 2 in Norway and Switzerland) and received gold status in the UK, Canada and the USA. Prince Rogers Nelson (June 7, 1958 - April 21, 2016) was an American musician, singer, guitar virtuoso (33rd in the list of Rolling Stone magazine), multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, composer, producer, actor, director. For most of his career, he performed under the name Prince, but also used other aliases. More than 100 million copies of his albums have been sold worldwide. Winner of seven Grammy, Oscar and Golden Globe Awards. In 2004, Prince was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, in 2006 - into the UK Music Hall of Fame, in 2016 - into the Rhythm and Blues Hall of Fame.
