The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band (also: The Bonzo Dog Band, The Bonzo Dog Dada Band, The Bonzos) is a British musical group formed in 1962 in London, England, and during the 1960-ies specializing in experimental, eccentric pop/rock music, combining in his work the tradition of English music hall, retro-jazz poetry of the absurd, rock-avant-garde and pop-psychedelia.
Being a non-profit group The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band, however, had success in the UK charts: their three album were in the Top 40 and the single produced by Paul McCartney "I'm The Urban Spaceman" in 1968, became a hit, rising to #5. The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band in 1970, broke up, then reunited in 1972, 1988 and 2006. Anthropology – a collection of groups came out in 1999, contains 30 tracks.
