The Circle is the eleventh Studio album by American rock band Bon Jovi . Released on 10 November 2009. The album debuted at number 1 in several countries, including the United States, where for the first week it sold 163 000 copies. The album topped the Billboard 200 when it debuted, but by next week it suddenly dropped to 19. The Circle debuted at the first position with sales of about 67,000 copies in the weekly Oricon albums chart of Japan, becoming the fifth album to number one on the Japanese chart.
