These Days is the sixth Studio album by American rock band Bon Jovi, released in 1995. The album was a big commercial success, especially in Europe and Japan. In Japan, the disc debuted at # 1 in the Oricon chart with sales of 379,000 copies, becoming the fastest-selling album in the history of the national chart among all non-Japanese performers. In the UK These Days has shifted the HIStory album Michael Jackson from the top spot in the UK Albums Chart and remained there for the leader of the 4 weeks. 4 singles from the disc hit the Top 10 of the British UK Singles Chart, which was the highest achievement for the group. The album also topped the European Billboard European Albums Chart for 7 weeks. A year later it was reprinted under the title Special Edition These Days. Q magazine put it at # 2 in its list of best album of 1995 ("Top 50 albums of 1995"). In 2006, the album entered the list of "200 greatest albums of the 1990-ies", compiled by the magazines Classic Rock & Metal Hammer (The "200 Greatest Albums Of The 90's"). In the US the album reached platinum status and sold over 1 million copies according to the American Association of recording companies (RIAA) entered the top ten (No. 9) on the Billboard 200.
