Based on a recording from Spears ' concert during the Dream Within a Dream Tour (2001-2002) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, originally broadcast on HBO, Spears performed sixteen songs between dance routines and costume changes. The DVD debuted at number one in the US and went double platinum. In France, the CD also went platinum.
