German original. Restless and Wild is the fourth Studio album by the German heavy metal band Accept , released in 1982 in continental Europe and in 1983 in the United States and the United Kingdom. This was the first Accept album that was not recorded at Delta-Studio, as the band moved to Dieter Dierks studios in Stommeln . This is also the first Accept album in which Udo Dirkschneider performs every song, as well as the first album in which Manager Gaby Hauke ("Deaffy") is recognized for writing songs. The album is best known for the first track "Fast as a Shark", which is considered one of the fastest speed metallers of the time. Restless and Wild was Accept's first album to chart in the UK, Sweden, and the Netherlands. The album did not chart in the US. The album was released in two official versions of the envelope design.
