A rare German reissue of a cult album. Glorified Magnified is the 2nd studio album by the English prog-rock band "Manfred Mann's Earth Band". Recorded in the summer of 1972 in London at the studio "Maximum". It was released on September 29 of the same year, 1972 on the label "Philips Records" in the UK and "Polydor Records" in the USA. For the first time, the band's corporate logo appears on the cover, which will now be depicted in a reduced form or color version on all Manfred Mann's Earth Band albums. "Glorified Magnified" was released a little more than six months after the band's debut album "Manfred Mann's Earth Band". In general, he continued the line outlined by the first album-compositions in the style of heavy progressive rock of the early 1970s with elements of blues and folk, with electric guitar and keyboards dominating. According to music critic Bruce Eder, this is a" hard rock " album of its era, in which, due to the mixing of rock, synthesizer and chorus, the sound characteristic of "King Crimson" of the mid-1970s is sometimes achieved. Most of the songs are written by the band members, but there are several cover versions of compositions by other musicians, including a treatment of the popular song "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue" by Bob Dylan from the album "Bringing It All Back Home" in 1965.
