Rare Dutch original. Diamond Life is the debut Studio album by English group Sade .The album spawned four singles, including the singles "Your Love Is King" and " Smooth Operator ". Diamond Life was met with recognition from music critics and subsequently won a Brit Award for best British album in 1985. From a commercial point of view, the album was a success, receiving high praise in the UK and the USA , and then was certified multi-platinum in both regions. Diamond Life sold over six million copies worldwide, becoming one of the best-selling debut recordings of the era, and became the best selling debut British singer, which lasted twenty-four years.
