The Dutch original. Done with Mirrors is the eighth Studio album by American rock band Aerosmith, released in November 1985. The CD marked the return of guitarists Joe Perry and Brad Whitford, who left the band in '79 and' 81, respectively. The band's first album on Geffen Records was intended as their "comeback". The album title has a double meaning, both in relation to the illusions that are "done with mirrors" — a reference to the reverse cover, and in the refusal of musicians to use drugs, such as cocaine, which is traditionally consumed from the surface of the mirror.
