Rare original cult album. Trio is a live album by Oscar Peterson, Joe Pass and Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen, which was released in 1974. The album received a Grammy award for best jazz group in 1975. In his Allmusic review, critic Scott Yanoff praised the game Pass and Peterson, but wrote: "the reason to acquire this set is for the remarkable Oscar Peterson. The pianist brilliantly investigates several jazz styles...Peterson really flourished during his years with the label Pablo Norman Granzа, and it was one of his best records of that period.
