European reissue. Calling the Wild is the seventh solo album by German rock singer Doro. It was released in 2000 in two different versions for the European market and the American one. For this release, Doro changed labels again, signing contracts with SPV/Steamhammer in Germany and with Koch Records in the USA. Dorothee Pesch, professionally known as Doro Pesch or simply Doro, is a German heavy metal singer and former lead singer of the heavy metal band Warlock. Doro's contribution to music and culture, dubbed the "Queen of Metal", has made her a global figure in metal culture.
