Caravan — British band of the Canterbury scene, formed in 1968 by former members of the Wilde Flowers Pye Hastings (vocals, guitar), Richard Sinclair (vocals, bass guitar), David Sinclair (keyboards) and Richard Coughlan (drums).Their first album, Caravan (1968) was a hybrid of pop, jazz and psychedelia, played an important role in the development of the band's sound, and the formation of the peculiarities of the music school Canterbury as a whole.
