Modern Music (1976) is the fourth Studio album by the British rock band "Be-Bop Deluxe" formed in 1972 in Wakefield, Yorkshire, England, who played glam/prog-rock with a distinctive emphasis on the guitar work of its leader, guitarist Bill Nelson. In the mid 1970-ies Nelson was considered one of the most interesting and original guitarists in Britain. Four of the album included the UK Top 30; top position (No. 10, 1977) reached here Live! In the Air. In 1976, the success had the singles "Ships in the Night" (No. 23) and "Hot Valves" (No. 36).
