A Love Supreme is a Studio album recorded jazz Quartet John Coltrane in December 1964 and released on the Impulse label! Records in February 1965. This album is considered by many critics as the most important milestone in his work, and of great importance not only for the discography of Coltrane, but for jazz in General. A Love Supreme is constantly mentioned in the list of the greatest jazz records of all time. By 1970, it was sold about 500 thousand copies of the album, which greatly outsold other releases on the label Coltrane "Impulse!", which, as a rule, does not exceed 30 thousand copies. Coltrane musical manuscript with themes of A Love Supreme is considered a national treasure and stored in the Smithsonian institution, National Museum of American history.
