Purpendicular is the fifteenth studio album by the British rock band Deep Purple, released in 1996. Purpendicular was released on February 17, 1996 in Europe (in Russia it appeared on sale one week before the official release date), and, a little later, in Japan and the USA, and in these two countries the disc included an additional bonus track "Don't Hold You Breath", before which there is 10 seconds of silence. In 2011, Music On Vinyl released the album on a double vinyl record. The release includes the bonus track "Don't Hold Your Breath".
