English original. Virgin Killer is the fourth studio album by the German hard rock band Scorpions, released in 1976, the band's first album to gain fame outside Europe. The title song, Virgin Killer, highlights the theme of human depravity, which gave rise to the idea of a cover with a naked ten-year-old girl, which was banned in the United States and several other countries. As was the case with the band's previous album, In Trance, the cover was censored, in some countries the album was released with an alternative version of the cover.
