Their only studio album recorded with six full-time members, following the coolly received 1997 album Open Your Eyes, The Ladder, was perceived as a conscious return to the classic Yes sound, while maintaining a modern edge. It peaked at No. 36 on the UK Albums Chart and No. 99 on the US Billboard 200.
