The British original. Roy Buchanan (1939 - 1988) is an American guitarist and Blues musician. "Guitarist for guitarists", by whose good definition. Despite the fact that he has not reached star fame, he is still considered a very influential guitarist. Roy Buchanan noted in lists of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time according to Classic Rock, as well as the 100 greatest guitarists of all time by the magazine Rolling Stone. However, in the early 80s, he was in a difficult situation, losing popularity and not finding record contracts. He made a tremendous return in 1985 with his album "When A Guitar Plays The Blues" on Alligator Records.
