The German original. Union is the thirteenth studio album by the English progressive rock band Yes, released on April 30, 1991 by Arista Records. Production began after the reunion of Yes with Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe. "Union" was met with mixed reviews by critics, and most of the band members openly expressed their dislike for the material and the way it was created. Despite all this, it had a relatively good commercial performance, reaching number 7 in the UK and number 15 in the US. "Lift Me Up", "Saving My Heart" and "I would Have Waited Forever" were released as singles; the former of which topped the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart for six weeks. Two months later, the Union was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for selling 500,000 copies. Yes supported Union on their 1991-1992 "Around the World in 80 Dates"world tour.
