European original. Tracker is the eighth solo studio album by British singer, songwriter and guitarist Mark Knopfler, released on March 16, 2015 (March 17, 2015 in North America). Mark Freuder Knopfler is a British singer-songwriter, guitarist and producer. He became known as the lead guitarist, singer and songwriter of the rock band Dire Straits. He embarked on a solo career after the band first broke up in 1988. Dire Straits reunited in 1990, but broke up again in 1995. He is now an independent solo artist.
